SANTA MARIA, Calif. - FBI Los Angeles is searching for the suspect involved in an armed robbery at the Community Bank of Santa Maria on Friday.

Santa Maria police received an alarm call from the bank at 4:46 p.m. Friday afternoon. Shortly after, employees contacted police saying they had locked themselves inside the bank.

Police said that a suspect had robbed the bank at gunpoint and fled the scene before they arrived.

The FBI released images on Saturday from bank surveillance footage showing the suspect.

The suspect can be seen wearing a black beanie over his face, a long-sleeved shirt and jeans. He is described as being white or Hispanic in his mid-30s to early-40s.

If you recognize this man or can help identify him, you are urged to call the FBI or Santa Maria Police Department immediately.
