Atascadero Fatte’s Pizza owner accused of robbing Paso Robles franchise

PASO ROBLES, Calif. -- Paso Robles police arrested one man involved in allegedly robbing Fatte's Pizza store in Paso Robles on Sunday night.
On Sunday night, Paso Robles police arrested Darryl Allan, the owner of the Atascadero Fatte's Pizza.
At around 10:17 p.m., two employees working at Fatte's Pizza in Paso Robles were locking up the shop when a masked gunman entered the business.
He approached the counter and brandished a silver pistol attached with a suppressor wrapped in black tape.
The gunman demanded the registers be emptied.
After clearing the registers, the robber made the two employees turn off all the lights and told them to head to the rear of the store. The suspect tossed two glow sticks into the shop, telling the employees that they could use it for light.
The suspect fled the scene. The employees rushed out to see a white Toyota Tundra speeding away from the business headed westbound on Niblick.
Paso Robles police officers and San Luis Obispo Sheriff's deputies searched the area and found a truck matching the description pulling into In-N-Out in Atascadero.
Deputies and officers stopped the truck and found the driver to be Darryl Allan, the owner of Atascadero Fatte's Pizza.
Officers found Allan to have in his possession a pocket full of .22 ammunition.

Officers then searched his truck to find a loaded silver .22 caliber pistol with an obliterated serial number, a black-taped suppressor, glow sticks, a large amount of cash, drugs, drug paraphernalia, metal knuckles and several keys to off road vehicles.
Allan was arrested for robbery, kidnapping, carrying a loaded gun with intent to commit a felony, carrying a loaded gun inside a vehicle, possession of a silencer, removing serial number from firearm, carrying a firearm while masked to hide identity, possession of controlled substance while armed and possession of metal knuckles.
Fatte's Pizza are all owned independently and operate separately.
Police are currently looking for the owner of the keys of the off-roading vehicles.
