US military strikes another Houthi-controlled site after warning ships to avoid parts of Red Sea

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. military has struck another Houthi-controlled site in Yemen that it had determined was putting commercial vessels in the Red Sea at risk. That’s according to a statement from U.S. Central Command. The first day of strikes against the Iranian-backed rebels on Friday hit 28 locations. The U.S says “follow-on action” early Saturday local time against a Houthi radar site used Tomahawk land attack missiles. Biden was asked on Saturday as he left the White House about the message sent to Iran from the U.S. strikes. He said, “We delivered it privately and we’re confident we’re well prepared.”
