Hwy 101 SB closed, drivers diverted off Seacliff exit

Ventura, Calif. -- Highway 101 southbound is currently being re-routed off of the Seacliff exit. All lanes are currently closed.

A man stepped outside of his Nissan Pathfinder in search of gas, when he was struck my an incoming vehicle.

The man was pronounced dead on scene. Coroners arrived on scene at 9:25pm.
