Santa Maria-Bonita School District and Community Health Centers partners to host back-to-school fair

SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- The Santa Maria-Bonita School District and Community Health Centers partnered to host a back-to-school fair in Santa Maria today.

Various organizations from the community collaborated to help offer the community health screenings and back-to-school essentials before the start of the new school year. 

While parents registered their children to school, kids received new backpacks with school supplies and COVID-19 health essentials.

The community was also able to receive covid testing, immunizations, dental and vision screenings.

The California Farmworker Foundation was in attendance offering free immigration information to families.

Children's Resource Network of the Central Coast brought their mobile clothing donation van for kids to take new back-to-school clothes.

The new school year for Santa Maria-Bonita school district begins august 10th.
