Guadalupe man arrested for 2018 gang-related murder
SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- Santa Maria police arrested a Guadalupe man for a murder that happened nearly 5 years ago.
Israel De La Cruz Hernandez was arrested on a warrant about 2:30 Thursday, according to Santa Maria Police Department.
He was booked for murder with a gang enhancement.
On December 8th of 2018, Adrian Zamora Alvarez was shot and killed near the intersection of Enos and Thornburg.
The case has remained open and police say they gathered further information earlier this year leading to the warrant for the arrest of Hernandez.
He's being held on two million dollars bail.
