Santa Ynez Valley wine tasting rooms prepare for weekend rain

Sunstone Winery

BUELLTON, Calif. -- Wine tasting, along with restaurants and gyms have moved outdoors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Health officials said being outdoors is safer than being indoors to slow the spread of the virus.

But this weekend KEYT is forecasting the first weekend of sizable rain since everyone has moved outdoors. And many outdoor wine tasting rooms aren't ready for the coming rain.

Ken Brown Wine posted on their website that their tasting room will be closed this weekend due to the rain and wind. However, they will be open for curbside pick-ups.
