Santa Maria police searching for car involved in hit-and-run crash

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol in Santa Maria is searching for a car involved in a hit-and-run crash.

On Wednesday, Aug. 26 around 4:35 p.m., a Grey Toyota Tundra was involved in a hit and run collision with another vehicle on Union Ave.

CHP said it happened in front of the post office in the old Orcutt area.

After the incident, the vehicle fled westbound toward Broadway Street, northbound to Clark Avenue and then east down Clark.

The truck was last seen traveling northbound on Orcutt Road from Clark Ave.

CHP Santa Maria said the truck is described as a Grey four-door Toyota Tundra with black and yellow license plates and a covered bed.
