Firefighters respond to electrical fire in Orcutt

ORCUTT, Calif. - Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to a structure fire in Orcutt.

The emergency call came in around 7 a.m. Thursday on the 1100 block of Clark Avenue near a Dignity Health office.

The staff was evacuated.

Firefighters say it appears to be an electrical fire in an HVAC unit.

Dignity Health says the fire happened at the frozen yogurt shop next to its lab and does not effect services at all.

No one was injured.

Damage to the building is said to be minor. Santa Barbara County Fire is investigating.
