Law enforcement searched a Buellton neighborhood Wednesday for two suspects wanted for stealing a vehicle.

BUELLTON, Calif. - Two people were arrested in Buellton Wednesday afternoon in connection to a vehicle that was stolen out of Isla Vista.

At around 12:45 p.m., Santa Barbara County Sheriff's dispatch received a be-on-the-lookout alert from California Highway Patrol regarding the vehicle, a white Audi SUV.

Just after 1:35 p.m., a sheriff's deputy in Buellton received a LoJack alert that the vehicle was nearby. Deputies quickly located the SUV in the area of Thumbelina Drive and Odense Street.

Two people ran from the vehicle. One of them, 59-year-old Jeffrey Stoltz of Buellton, was quickly captured.

Additional units set up containment of the area as deputies searched backyards for the second suspect.

53-year-old Sean Lynn of Goleta was found by deputies and sheriff dog Duke in the backyard of a home on the 400 block of Kendale. He was taken into custody without incident.

The sheriff's office said Lynn had an outstanding felony no-bail warrant for violation of his parole for assault with a deadly weapon.

Both men were booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail.

Stoltz faces possible charges for felony vehicle theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, and destruction of evidence. His bail is set at $25,000.

Lynn was booked for the felony no-bail warrant and will likely face charges for felony vehicle theft.

CHP will be handling the stolen vehicle investigation.
