Morro Bay man arrested for narcotics sales
MORRO BAY, Calif. - A Morro Bay man was arrested this week for selling methamphetamine and heroin.
Police were called to a business in the 900 block of Morro Bay Boulevard around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday. They say there had been some sort of disturbance.
Officers arrived at the scene and found Kenneth Clark Wiedemann, 40, of Morro Bay.
They say he was under the influence, so officers did a field sobriety test and determined he had recently used a controlled substance.
Officers say Wiedemann had also driven while impaired.
Police later searched Wiedemann's car and found drug paraphernalia, including about 20.6 grams of heroin and 26.5 grams of methamphetamine.
He was arrested on suspicion of having narcotics for sale, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and driving under the influence.
He was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail.
