Convicted felon arrested during traffic stop in Morro Bay

MORRO BAY, Calif. - A convicted felon was arrested during a traffic stop in Morro Bay over the weekend.

Police say they contacted Jesse Cornelison, 30, when they stopped him in the 700 block of Quintana Road around 1 a.m. Sunday.

Investigators say he is a convicted felon and was driving on a suspended driver's license. They also say he had a gun and drug paraphernalia on him.

Cornelison was arrested and booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail.

He was still listed as being in custody as of Tuesday.

Bail was set at $50,000.
