PASO ROBLES, Calif. - A woman was taken into custody Thursday in connection with the stabbing of a teenager.

The stabbing happened Tuesday at a trailer parked in the Woodland Plaza parking lot.

Police say a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the neck, but managed to run to a local business. He was taken to a hospital where he underwent surgery and was last listed in critical condition.

Police say Michaela Twyman, 24, was the owner of the trailer and had gotten into a fight with the teenager.

On Thursday, police found her walking on the railroad tracks just south of San Miguel.

She was arrested and later booked in San Luis Obispo County Jail.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Paso Robles Police Department at 805-237-6464.
