Santa Maria’s Chick-fil-a opens at Enos Ranch
Chick-fil-a officially opened its doors in Santa Maria Thursday, adding another new business to the growing Enos Ranch development.
Security guards were directing traffic all day because customers who are coming through the drive-thru or are parking to dine in, will now be sharing the parking lot with shoppers also trying to go to Petco, Old Navy and Buffalo Wild Wings.
The owner of this new Chick-fil-a, Joey Hickox, says he’s hoping to have a real impact on the Santa Maria community. “My desire and what you will see out of this restaurant is a company and a restaurant that is more focused on the people that walk through these doors than on the food they’re eating off the table.”
“This whole shopping center is coming out with a lot of new stuff, a lot of new stores and I think it’s really going to bring the community together. It’s going to be cool having new stuff opening up,” said customer Josiah Leach.
“It’s exciting because we’re such a small town and we’re just recently getting all the big stores that big cities have so I think Santa Maria is turning into a bigger city,” customer Else Martinez said.
As the excitement around this new opening continues, more stores are opening their doors. Ulta will be hosting their grand opening Friday and Xfinity will be hosting their grand opening Saturday, March 17th.
