Two Oxnard residents shot, police looking for suspects

Two Oxnard residents are recovering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds as police continue their search for possible suspects.

The shooting occurred at about 8:15 p.m. in the 300 block of Cuesta del Mar in the City on Oct. 30th.

Oxnard police said they found two victims after witnesses called 911 reporting they had heard multiple shots fired and saw two possible suspects driving away from the area in a dark-colored sedan.

Police were not able to find any suspects or the suspect car but did release a general description of the suspects they’re looking for.

Both suspects are described as Hispanic adult males in their 20’s. One of the suspects is tall with a thin build. No further information was released on the second suspect.

The victims, a 24-year-old and a 30-year-old, were taken to Ventura County Medical Center and are expected to survive their injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Oxnard Police Department at 805-385-7600, or remain anonymous by calling the Ventura County Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-222-8477.
