Santa Ynez softball reaches CIF final after another lopsided playoff win
Santa Ynez has now scored 67 runs in four playoff wins as they crushed Santa Rosa Academy 17-2 in a CIF division 7 semifinal game.
The Pirates jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back in notching win #20 on the season.
More importantly the Pirates will try and win the program’s first ever softball CIF title over the weekend as they play Village Christian. The CIF will announce on Wednesday the date and time for the title game which will be played in Irvine.
