Man killed in Oxnard shooting identified

The identity of a man who was killed during a shooting late Wednesday night in Oxnard has been identified by authorities.

According the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office, the man is Andres Rocha, 22, of Oxnard.

The shooting happened at around 11:00 p.m. near the Featherstone Street and San Gorgonio Avenue. Rocha was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Wednesday night in Oxnard.

Officers were called to the scene around 11:08 p.m. to a residential neighborhood near Featherstone Street and San Gorgonio Avenue.

A 22-year-old male victim was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, Oxnard police said.

There is a $10,000 reward on the table for anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case.
