Memorial for Ventura murder victim includes Christmas tree

A Christmas tree, candles, roses and even a gallon of milk and a bottle of champagne can be found at the end of Seaward Ave. in Ventura.

The items are part of a memorial for a Ventura murder victim.

Friends said those were some of Spencer Turner’s favorite things.

Turner, 27, was shot to death leaving the Golden China restaurant off Seaward Avenue early Saturday morning.

Another man was taken to the hospital.

Ventura police are still trying to solve the murder.
