Zoo Animals Enjoy Thanksgiving Treats

It’s Thanksgiving week and people have turkey on their minds, but you can’t forget about other animals…we mean the animals at the Santa Barbara Zoo.

Elephants will get to stomp and chomp on one of their favorite foods this Thanksgiving: pumpkin.

The African Lions will catch and eat their very own raw turkey. The zoo is open on Thursday, where you can celebrate with the animals.

The zoo will be open from 10 to 3:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Ticket sales stop at 2:00 p.m. that afternoon.
