San Luis Obispo Man Arrested for Stabbing in Burger King Parking Lot

A San Luis Obispo man is behind bars after police say he stabbed someone in a Burger King parking lot.

It happened Sunday morning on the 1300 block of Madonna Road.

Police say 55-year-old James Angelico got in an argument with the victim before it escalated. When officers arrived, they found the victim with a cut on his torso. He was treated at the scene.

The victim and a witness provided a description of the suspect and his bicycle. Officers later located Angelico in a McDonald’s parking lot. That’s where they confiscated the knife and arrested him.

Angelico is charged with assault with a deadly weapon. He’s booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail with bail set at $25,000.
