Man With Medical Emergency Rescued From Los Padres Forest
A man had to be airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital after suffering an unknown medical emergency at Big Caliente Canyon.
This area of the forest is located about 10 miles north east of Santa Barbara.
Santa Barbara County Fire and Sheriff air unit hoisted down two paramedics to assess the man’s condition. The call came in around noon at the Los Padres National Forest Friday.
There is no word yet on the man’s current condition. No one else was hurt.
