SBCC Football Stars Sign With 4-Year Universities
They led Santa Barbara City College to their best season in years and now quarterback Jarred Evans and linebacker Morgan Nevin will reap the benefits.
Evans signs a letter-of-intent with the University of Cincinnati while Nevin commits to Sacramento State.
Evans threw 13 touchdown passes in five games with the Vaqueros before suffering a season-ending injury in Week 6.
Nevin led the state in tackles with 139 and set a single-game school record with 28 in a game versus Santa Monica.
SBCC went 7-3, its most wins since 1991.
