Marine Corps Celebrates 238th Birthday

If you know a Marine, wish them a happy birthday today.

The Marine Corps was created in 1775 and is celebrating its 238th birthday.

Every year on November 10, Marines of all generations get together to celebrate the birthday.

This year is the anniversary of several battles, including the 10th anniversary of the March Up to Baghdad.

There are more than 200,000 active duty Marines and around 40,000 reserve Marines.
