Oprah’s auction items open for public viewing

Oprah’s big auction is Saturday and preparations are already underway. Tents are up at the Santa Barbara Polo Club in Carpinteria. Some locals even reported seeing the OWN Network CEO, as she was doing a photo shoot on the grounds Tuesday.

Roughly 4,000 people are expected to rummage through hundreds of pieces of the media mogul’s old furniture. Auction items start at about 100-150-dollars. They include antiques, fine art, signed autographs, and more.

Proceeds will go to the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation college fund, for her students in South Africa.

The public will be able to start viewing the items all week starting Wednesday from 10 a-m to 5 p-m.
