Children learned the importance of recycling Friday.
They were special guests at Be Wise. Be Green., an event hosted by Republic Services of Oxnard at the Del Norte Recycling and Tranfer Station in Oxnard.
Kids of all ages took a tour and made arts and crafts out of items that can be recycled.
A recycle robot named MRFy also roamed around and answered children’s questions.
They also took part in a drum circle put on by Drumtime.
