CI campus closed due to fire
Cal State University students were ordered to evacuate as a fire came dangerously close to dorms and professor housing.
Faculty members said they heard the evacuation orders over the intercom around 10:30 a.m.
The campus has more than one exit, but both roads were jammed.
High school students on a field trip had their tour cut short. They boarded a bus and headed home. Before leaving one boy called it a memorable trip.
No word when students will be allowed back on campus.
The fire is still burning between Camarillo and Malibu.
It is being pushed by strong winds.
