Gang member who murdered his estranged wife sentenced to 75 years in prison
A gang member who murdered his estranged wife will spend the next 75 years behind bars.
Isaac Martinez was sentenced Monday. He pleaded guilty last month to first degree murder– after admitting to ambushing and shooting Maria Martinez in August 2011 outside a convenience store in Santa Maria.
Martinez will be sent to Wasco State Prison in Kern County in the next few weeks. He is not eligible for parole anytime within the next 75 years.
