Cal Poly to play Penn State in first round of NCAA Tournament

Cal Poly received the No. 14 seed in the Spokane Region of the NCAA Tournament and will play 3rd-seeded Penn State on Sunday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Mustangs are making its first NCAA Women’s Basketball appearance in school history.

Cal Poly is 21-10 and earned a trip to the tournament by beating Pacific last Saturday in the Big West Conference Tournament Championship game.
