Laid off SBB&T employees can get help from job fair
Santa Barbara Bank and Trust employees laid off when Union Bank took over, might get some help from an upcoming job fair.
The Santa Barbara County Workforce Investment Board along with Union Bank will host an employer and resource job fair.
In November, 468 employees were told their jobs would be eliminated. However, 80 percent are allowed to stay on until April 30.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 23 in the Campus Point Administrative Building in Goleta.
