Armed robbery at Mobil station
Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Mobil Gas Station.
It happened just before 9 p.m. in the 2200 block of Las Positas in Santa Barbara. According to the sheriff’s office, a man with a knife, wearing a black bandanna over his face, tried to forcibly open the cash register. authorities say he cut the security cord and threw the register on the ground, smashing it.
He took off with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last scene on Modoc Road.
He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, medium build wearing a brown jacket and black slacks.
