The Carpinteria based Lynda.com online educational company has raise $103-million dollars through investors. The company has a large office building in Carpinteria, along with offices in Ventura and Calabasas. They currently employ 400 workers.Later this month it will be honored by the Carpinteria Chamber of Commerce as the Large Business of the Year.The Pacific Coast Business Times says Lynda.com is one of the fastest-growing firms in the Tri-Counties, with services used by Fortune 100 companies, higher education institutions and the government.
