Cool Crew Takes The Stage

Performers with special needs put on a talent show today called ‘Bullies, Peer Pressure & Other Stranger Danger.”It’s another example of “What’s Right in Our Community”Members for the case called the Cool Crew did a play called “Just Say No to Bullying.”The program took place at the Oceanview pavilion in Port Hueneme.Oceanview is home to an “Adult Day Program.”One of the directors says most of the cast members had never stepped on a stage before.Some had never talked in public.Renowned composer and conductor Roger Steinman volunteered his time to helped with the production.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
