8-Man Football: Cate Wins Big Over Laguna Blanca
It wasn’t only the college guys playing football on Saturday. Cate school in Carpinteria hosted Laguna Blanca in 8-man football.Cate was dominate from the onset. Putting up nearly 50 points in their blowout win, 49-13.Cate quarterback Kyle Mayfield threw for several touchdowns and even had an interception on defense.Running back Austin Gallegos spent most of the day in the endzone leading Cate to their third win of the season.Cate moves to 3-1 and hosts Orcutt Academy next week while Laguna Blanca will travel and play at Dunn.
