Copenhagen Drive to remain closed in Solvang

SOLVANG, Calif. - The Solvang City Council voted unanimously on Monday night to continue keeping a block of Copenhagen Drive closed through October 31, 2021.

The closure will cost the city just under $30,000 to purchase barricades, hanging lights, and umbrellas. It will cost $3,000 for each business to purchase new furniture, plants, and umbrellas.

In an online survey conducted by the city, over 80% of people said they were in favor of continuing the closure.
