First responders successfully conduct cliff rescue for person stuck above Pirate’s Cove Wednesday

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – First responders were able to rescue a person stuck about 20 feet off the trail on the cliffs above Pirate's Cove Wednesday.

According to the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department, crews climbed down to the person who was conscious at the time and were able to successfully bring them back up to the trail.

Crews on the ground were joined by a helicopter at the scene of the safe recovery noted the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department.
