City of Santa Barbara kicks off Summer Nights for teens
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - If your teens are looking for more fun this summer they can look forward to the launch of Summer Nights” every Friday in Santa Barbara.
The city is aiming to bring community partners together to provide free and fun activities for teens.
Activities this week include: Rock climbing with UCSB Adventure Program, Canvas painting and rock painting with Youth Makers Market.
Other activities happening this summer include movie screenings with free pizza and popcorn, and youth concerts.

"Very excited to be working together with community partners to bring together free and fun activities for teens ages 12 through 17 in the Santa Barbara area ... my hope is that will see a lot of teens out here enjoying a lot of the free activities that were provided," said program director Nicole Morgan of Santa Barbara Summer Nights.
Summer nights is Hosted by Parks and Recreation in partnership with the Santa Barbara Unified School District and the United Boys and Girls Club of Santa Barbara.
