SANTA MARIA VALLEY, Calif. - Central Coast agricultural company Corona Family Farms donated more than 40 flats of fresh strawberries to local Dignity Health hospitals as a show of appreciation to the healthcare workers fighting against COVID-19.

The strawberry recipients included Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, French Hospital Medical Center, and Marian Regional Medical Center physicians, nurses and ancillary departments.

“Employees of Corona Family Farms wanted to show their appreciation for the health care staff that are working daily to protect and serve our communities,” said Corona Family Farms owner, Anne Corona. "Our company has been here for generations, and we wanted to recognize these hospitals that have also served the community for years, now more than ever.”

Corona Family Farms is owned by a second-generation farming family worked in agriculture, farming and distributing for more than 30 years.
