Heat Advisory issued August 18 at 7:33PM PDT until August 20 at 8:00PM PDT by NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA

* WHAT…High temperatures ranging from 95 to 105 degrees. Low
temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s, except mid 70s to lower
80s in the foothills and mountains.

* WHERE…A portion of southwest California.

* WHEN…Until 8 PM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. Warmer than
normal low temperatures will add to the heat discomfort.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
