Water main break on San Rafael Avenue in Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – A water main broke in the 100/200 block of San Rafael Avenue at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to the City of Santa Barbara Water Resources office, crews are on the scene attempting to restore water service for residents within a three-block area of the damaged water main.

As of 4:30 p.m., underground utilities location and marking services have been completed shared the Water Resources office.

Water service is expected to be fully restored by tonight and repairs are anticipated to be fully completed between 10 p.m. and midnight tonight detail the Water Resources office.
