Santa Barbara’s Conner Coffin is ready for 2nd year on WSL Champions Tour after solid rookie season

He travels all over the world surfing the best waves but 23-year old Santa Barbara native Conner Coffin is always glad to be home.

Coffin is coming off a solid first year on the World Surf League Men’s Champions Tour where he tied for 17th place overall and just missed out on rookie of the year honors.

His best finish was second place in Portugal as he was just edge out by eventual tour champion John John Florence.

Coffin is healing a recent knee injury but should be ready to roll on March 14 when the new season begins in Australia.

Recently Coffin became a partner in a new business venture with Leus involving colorful beach towels.

The towels are now available for purchase and for more information visit www.leustowels.com.

Conner has been surfing with his entire family since he was four years old. They would often hit the water before Conner headed off to Montecito Union School and then Santa Barbara Junior High.

Conner’s younger brother Parker is a pro surfer as well. Conner’s dream is to have Parker join him on the top tour in the near future.
