Many exchange and return gifts following Christmas Day

CAMARILLO, Calif.- Christmas day families around the country opened gifts.

The day after Christmas many are decluttering the gifts Santa got wrong.

“We got some things that we want to exchange,” said shopper Season Lozano.

Season Lozano took a trip with her family to the Camarillo Premium Outlets to get her daughter a new pair of shoes.

“I did not know it was going to be this crazy but her with family and so they wanted to come out and get her some Crocs,” said Lozano.

Lozano’s daughter Dylan is excited to get some crocs that will match the watch and purse she was gifted for Christmas.

With several colors and patterns to choose from, Dylan is opting for a color that will be versatile—like white.

Long lines aren’t deterring shoppers from snagging great deals.

But some store policies are preventing many customers from returning their holiday gifts.

“A lot of exchanges today. We don't actually do returns,” said one retail worker.

Retail workers at many of the outlet stores say to really make sure you are convinced about an item before buying it since some items are final sale.
