U.C.S.B. soccer player changes his plea

The University of California, Santa Barbara soccer player arrested for shoving a referee has changed his plea.

Peter McGlynn pleaded no contest for battery on a sports official, and for resisting a peace officer.

A judge agreed to put off sentencing for 6 months.

Until then, McGlynn is required to complete three hundred hours of community service, and anger management classes.

If he meets those requirements, the charges could be dropped.

McGlynn was caught on tape pushing the ref from behind after a match in October.
