Santa Barbara Zoo to open at end of January
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Santa Barbara Zoo will reopen on Jan. 30. The zoo says it plans to reopen safely after being closed to the public on Dec. 7 due to the regional stay-at-home order.
The public will need to make online reservations to visit the zoo.
When the zoo reopens, it will be the first chance for visitors to meet some of the zoo's newest residents, including white-faced saki monkeys, baby flamingos and fireback pheasants.
The zoo says it will continue to follow state and county health guidelines to keep guests safe during their visit.
Santa Barbara Zoo will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with reservations for both guests and Zoo membership holders.
