SLO County Sheriff investigating suspicious death in rural Arroyo Grande

ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. - Deputies with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office began a suspicious death investigating in rural Arroyo Grande Friday night.

The investigation began around 5:08 p.m. on the 2000 block of Chamisal Lane when deputies received reports of a possible trespasser.

Upon arriving, deputies conducted a welfare check on a residence near the reported trespassing. There, they found a woman dead inside her home.

Sheriff's detectives are conducting a suspicious death investigation at this time. The public is asked to stay clear of the area.

The sheriff's office is not releasing many details at this time.
