Monday morning forecast – Nov. 18th

After a warm weekend, Monday will be the last summer like day for the week. As a ridge of high pressure dominates southern California elevated fire danger is still in the forecast. Temperatures will remain above average, with low humidity and breezy NE wind. Daytime highs along the coast in the upper 70s to low 80s and valleys in the upper 80s to low 90s.

Looking ahead, a ridge of high pressure will exit and another system will move in. An area of low pressure spinning over the Pacific Northwest will sink further south. This will allow for increasing cloud coverage and significantly cooler conditions. Tuesday daytime highs along the coast and valleys will be in the mid-60s to 70s.

A chance for rain showers could be expected for Wednesday morning until
Thursday. Otherwise partly sunny skies for the South Coast with more cloud coverage for the Central Coast. A warm-up will return for the weekend with temps looking to be around average.
