SLO County Sheriff’s Office investigates threat against Los Osos Middle School
LOS OSOS, Calif. -- The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office has extra deputies at Los Osos Middle School after someone made a threat.
Deputies say their dispatch center got a 911 call from someone who made a threat against the campus and then hunt.
Detectives contacted school officials could contact staff, students and parents about the situation.
Deputies say the threat was assessed and resources responded to the campus and surrounding area Tuesday morning.
They will remain on campus throughout the day out of an abundance of caution.
Detectives say the threat was generalized and not directed at any specific person.
