Friday morning forecast May 15th

Santa Barbara, Calif. - The warm, windy weather pattern we've had much of this week will continue for the California Central Coast and South Coast, and the Wind Advisory which was issued late Wednesday will now continue through Saturday morning with wind gusts over 50 mph possible. Highs will be slightly warmer for everyone, ranging from the lower 70s to the lower 80s.

Our weather pattern will begin changing as we progress through the weekend and early next week. A large trough of low pressure will increase our clouds Saturday through Sunday and Monday. The wind will weaken slightly Saturday, we'll have light showers late Sunday and early Monday, and more wind arrive Tuesday and Wednesday before weakening Thursday.

Daytime highs will peak in most areas on Friday and Saturday, cooling through next Tuesday, and will then warm again late next week. Highs will be in the 60s and lower 70s along the coasts, with 70s and 80 in our inland valleys. Overnight lows will stay mild with increasing clouds and stronger wind. Lows will be mainly in the 50s, with a few upper 40s and a few lower 60s.
