Sunday evening forecast Feb 16th.
Another very mild & quiet weather day as we move in to mid February and still see no significant rain on the horizon. Yet another storm system is currently moving in to the Pacific Northwest and yet again, that means more of the same for us! We could see a little wind from the north and then northeast over the next few days as is typical with this weather pattern. At this time there are no watches or advisories for wind, but areas just to our northeast are. We will monitor closely just in case we see the need to add a wind advisory for our region.
Temperatures on Monday look phenomenal once again with highs in the 60's and 70's. Some morning fog is possible, but should burn off by the afternoon.
Looking ahead, the relentless dry pattern is expected to hold through much of next week. A slight chance for showers does pop in to our extended forecast by next weekend. However, this is a small chance at best. The only good news is that the weak system envelop a little further west rather than being yet another fast moving "inside Slider"Â This could be a signal that maybe the overall pattern is beginning to shift and the storm door will open for California! Â Of course we are always hopeful and will update frequently in hopes that some rain returns soon!
