OCEANO / PISMO BEACH, Calif. (KEYT) - Beachgoers in Oceano and Pismo are making the most of the long holiday weekend.

Known to be crowded on most weekends with summer weather, Pismo Beach lived up to its reputation.

Lines wrapped around popular businesses for blocks starting long before noon.

Local businesses have unique hours and offers for Labor Day, such as Harry's Night Club & Bar, normally closed Mondays and Tuesdays, but hosting a lineup of live music starting at 2:00 p.m. and lasting until midnight.

Similarly, campfires are allowed for registered campers at Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area until 10:00 p.m.

Restricted to three feet across and two feet in height, fires are to be thoroughly extinguished with exposed ashes before leaving the site.
