SB Humane Brightens Up Your Morning with Ricotta!

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) – Santa Barbara Humane stopped by your Morning News with special guest Rictotta, a two-month-old Chihuahua.

August was a busy month for SB Humane, with the non-profit placing 269 animals in homes during the month.

They are also extending "Thursday Purrsday" into September, meaning that cat and kitten adoption fees are waived on Thursdays.

Last week, the Santa Maria Clinic altered 84 cats in one day. SB Humane offers free traps and free Trap-Neuter-Returns throughout the month.

Coming up, SB Humane has Kitten Yoga on September 13th at Vida Yoga in Orcutt.

Then on the 19th of September, SB Humane will host their 2026 gala. The theme is "Whiskers Under the Moon," and will feature cocktails, farm-to-table dinners, live music and more.
